Professional Summary
I received my PHD in Counseling Psychology from the University of Southern California and completed my pre-doctoral clinical internship at Camarillo State Hospital. Both my doctoral program and internship have met the academic and professional standards required to receive full accreditation from the American Psychological Association. I also hold a Bachelors degree in Psychology from UCLA and a Masters degree in Psychology from Pepperdine University.

After graduating from USC, I completed two years of post-doctoral training in adult psychological assessment and clinical child psychology at Kedren Community Mental Health Center. By mid 1997, I had successfully completed all requirements for California State Licensure, and went on to pass both the written and oral psychology boards directly thereafter.

After a brief period doing clinical research, I began my private practice in 1999. Since then, I have had the priviledge to see hundreds of patients both in my office in Encino and at the Motion Picture & Television Fund Hospital where I have actively served on the medical staff for the past 7 years. Additionally, I am on the medical staff at Northridge Hospital and act as a consultant to their sleep lab.

I currently co-instruct a year long course (Doctoring 3) in the UCLA school of medicine and hold an assistant clinical professorship in the UCLA department of Psychiatry and Biobehavioral Science.
